an avid photographer who, through the help of many people and studies, has spent more than thirty years in his continuing efforts to become a better photographer.
Through these years there have been numerous photography workshops and seminars with the likes of; Canon USA, Outdoor Magazine’s, George Lepp, Arizona Highways Magazine, Rod Plank in the Upper Peninsula. All of which, have provided me with new skills, knowledge and a continuing education in photography. There have been a number of photo contests winning awards.
For several years while in Dayton, OH., was as a member of the (80 member), Dayton Tripod Club. During this time routinely worked as a judge in their local competitions (for PSA submissions), for the Dayton Tripod Club.
Arriving in Tucson, AZ., in 2006, joined and has continued to be an active member in the 100 member Tucson Club Camera.
Currently, volunteers as event photographer for a male chorus and the National Honor Flight for our Military Veterans, here in Tucson, AZ.
My working career has allowed me to travel throughout the U.SA., several Asian Countries and to have visited parts of Europe. These travel opportunities, the people, places and stories have all had a direct reflection on my photography, which I am proud of.
When not out photographing, or staring at my PC, I am probably dreaming up some “gourmet” meal to prepare for our many family celebrations and holidays. Of course, afterwards, I want to photograph my dinner creations.
